Tea Garden

Zhenghe White Peony, a distinguished variety of white tea, originates from Zhenghe County in Fujian Province. This region's high-altitude mountains, misty climate, and fertile soil create ideal conditions for tea cultivation. White Peony is crafted using both young buds and tender leaves, resulting in a tea with a delicate balance of floral and fruity notes. Zhenghe White Peony is known for its full-bodied texture, mellow sweetness, and smooth mouthfeel. Traditional sun-drying and natural withering techniques are used to preserve its rich aroma and complex flavor. With its golden infusion and lingering aftertaste, Zhenghe White Peony is treasured by tea connoisseurs for its depth and elegance.

Tea Features

Flavor

Zhenghe White Peony presents a layered taste experience. The top note carries a gentle floral fragrance, followed by a subtle fruity sweetness and a soft honeyed finish. The tea leaves a refreshing aftertaste with a lingering smoothness.

Leaves

The tea consists of one bud with one or two tender leaves, showcasing a mix of silver buds and deep green leaves with a slightly curled shape. When brewed, the leaves unfurl gracefully, revealing a vibrant and tender texture, emphasizing the tea’s freshness and quality.

Cup

Porcelain and glass teacups are perfect for enjoying Zhenghe White Peony. The transparency of a glass cup allows tea drinkers to appreciate the beautiful color transformation of the golden-hued liquor, while porcelain cups enhance the tea’s floral aroma and retain warmth for a richer tasting experience.

Brewing Guide

Teapot

Add 5-8 tea leaves per 100-300 milliliters of water (80°C water temperature). Steep for 1-2 minutes. This tea is suitable for multiple infusions, with each steeping offering a new layer of aroma.

Glass Cup

In China, it is common to brew tea in a glass cup. Simply place 3-5 tea leaves into the glass cup and pour in 80°C water to enjoy the refreshing aroma and taste. This method also allows you to observe the unfolding of the tea leaves.

Organic Certification

Packaging

For storing Lion’s Peak Longjing, it is best to use a tall, thick-walled porcelain or glass container to protect the tea leaves. In China, people also prefer to brew the tea in tall glass cups for an elegant experience. Another option is using a Gaiwan (盖碗) for brewing, where the leaves can be gently broken and placed in the Gaiwan for infusion.

Storage Recommendations

For best preservation, Lion’s Peak Longjing should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight and humidity. A sealed tea canister or paper tea box is ideal for maintaining freshness. The container should be made of food-grade materials with high-quality moisture-proof features to prevent deterioration.
